I remember the first time I saw Jars' in person. It couldn't have come at a more depressing situation. I was currently in the 7th grade at Tower Grove Christian School and my Principal was killed in a tragic automobile. Her daughter was currently attending college in Nashville and had become freinds with the guys from Jars'. She invited them to sing in her mother's funeral. This was their first "gig".

Their first CD(pictured above) is considered their best by many people I have talked to. One song entitled "Worlds Apart" summarizes many Christian teenagers views about life. They struggle with the sins they commit and don't understand how God can forgive them. They only blame themselves when all God wants to do is take the blame and nail it to a cross.

Jars of Clay is a group deep in poetic verses about the meaning of life that stimulates the heart and the mind.
